Dr. Majedi is an anesthesiologist and pain specialist with over 20 years of clinical and academic experience. He completed two fellowships in Pain Medicine in France — at Pierre & Marie Curie University, and at Louis Pasteur University where he obtained the AFSA (Attestation de Formation Spécialisée Approfondie, the French fellowship qualification).
He has held faculty positions at Shahid Beheshti University and Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), where he founded and chaired the Pain Research Center and directed the Pain Fellowship Program. At the national level, he has served on the Iranian National Board of Anesthesiology and on the Ministry of Health committees for anesthesiology certification and pain fellowship curriculum development, and was Vice President of the Iranian Headache Association.
He joins the Department of Anesthesia at ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï as Associate Professor and the Alan Edwards Pain Management Unit. His expertise encompasses interventional and image-guided pain procedures, regional anesthesia, neuromodulation, and complex chronic pain conditions including headache, trigeminal neuralgia, and cancer pain.
His research focuses on neuropathic pain, botulinum toxin in pain management, and chronic pain registries, with 40 peer-reviewed publications and 28 registered research projects.
