ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹ÏÌýis pleased to announce the launch ofÌýHorizon Scholars, a fully funded year-long academic enrichment and campus exposure program for BlackÌýCÉGEPÌýstudents across the city of Montreal.Ìý
This program supports students as they explore university pathways, strengthen their academic skills, and prepare competitive applications to ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï’s world-class programs. Horizon Scholars also helps participants build the confidence and connections needed to thrive academically, personally, and professionally.
Program Highlights
Campus Experience
Take part in interactive workshops on ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï’s downtown campus and get a real sense of university life.
Application Support
Learn about admission requirements, explore your academic interests, and develop strong university applications.
Entrance Scholarship
Students admitted to ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï through the program will receive a $2,000 entrance award.
Academic Networking
Connect with ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï professors, staff, and students, and discover a wide range of academic fields and research areas.
Personalized Mentorship
Receive one-on-one guidance and mentorship from members of the ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï community.
Summer Experience
Participate in a dynamic summer program tailored to your cohort’s academic, creative, and professional interests.
Eligibility RequirementsÌý
Self-identify as Black.
Be currently enrolled in a CÉGEP in the Montreal area.
Demonstrate involvement in community-based activities or initiatives.
