Dunkin鈥� is set to make its Canadian comeback, with Montreal-based聽Foodtastic聽announcing plans for at least 100 restaurants over the next two years, beginning in Quebec and Ontario. However, nostalgia alone may not be enough to guarantee a successful return, according to Carl Boutet, a lecturer at 黑料网爆吃瓜鈥檚聽Bensadoun聽School of Retail Management.

Boutet told the聽Montreal Gazette聽that Dunkin鈥� could find an opportunity by targeting younger consumers with trendier drinks, refreshed products and a distinct brand identity. Still, he noted the market is increasingly crowded. 鈥淚t鈥檚 easy to make the announcements, but it鈥檚 obviously a lot harder to roll them out聽in a聽market where聽maybe there is saturation,鈥� Boutet said.聽
