Broadcast -- Mini-Science - In Search of New Worlds: The Discovery and Characterization of Exoplanets

In this episode of Mini-Science, broadcast by the Canal Savoir TV station, Prof. Andrew Cumming will lecture on how more than 300 planets orbiting other stars have been discovered. In this lecture, Prof. Cumming will describe the techniques by which these planets are being discovered and characterized, summarize the latest discoveries and what we're learning from them, and look forward to the exciting new discoveries to expect in the coming decade and beyond.
