Getting your SSHRC Grant: Strategies for Success - Information Session

Faculty of Education Colleagues,

If you plan to apply for grants from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) this Fall you should find useful a grantsmanship session specifically for the Faculty of Education. The session will provide an overview of the Program, the peer review process, and strategies for successful grant writing.

The session will open with a short briefing by Rupa Narasimhadevara, Grants Officer in ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï’s Research Grants Office, followed by short presentations by four researchers in the Faculty whoÌýall have wide experience of the application and selection process employed by SSHRC:

Dr David Dillon, Department of Integrated Studies in Education

Dr Andrew Large, School of Information Studies

Dr Mary Maguire, Department of Integrated Studies in Education

Dr Nancy Heath, Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology

There will be time for questions and answers.
