The stud y is restricted to solutions which are functions of mutual distances only. The quantum system for which these states are eigenstates is found and it s Hamiltonian is constructed. It corresponds to a three-dimensional quantu m particle moving in a curved space with special metric. The kinetic energ y of the system has a hidden sl(4\,R) Lie (Poisson) algebra structure\, al ternatively\, the hidden algebra $h^{(3)}$ typical for the $H_3$ Calogero model.
