 cted to Parliament. She has been sitting for Notre-Dame-de-Grâce / Lachine
  since 1997\, and is involved in several special committees at the House o
 f Commons\, including the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights. 
 Prior to her election\, she was Deputy Commissioner for Police Ethics for 
 the Province of Quebec (1990-97). She will discuss her career in law and p
