 esearchers from across the country\, and around the world\,\nconducting re
 search in three broad disciplines: Materials &\nMolecular Science\, Earth 
 & Environmental Science\, and Life\nSciences. One of its mandates is to pr
 ovide an environment where\npeople from different disciplines\, different 
 institutions\n(academic\, industrial\, government) and different nationali
 ties can\nmeet and create new ideas.\nAll are welcome.\n
