 l problems and example solutions  in which we are\ndeveloping of autonomou
 s robots where\, from my point of view\,\npotential short-term innovations
  can be expected in the near\nfuture. I will discuss several aspects of th
 ese problems which make\nthe development of truly autonomous robots challe
 nging and present\nkey technologies\, from which I expect the most substan
 tial\ninfluence onto the field of robotics.\n
