Positive psychology wit h its\nstrength-based approach towards the development of resilience in\ne ducation and parenting has also made important contributions to\nthis fiel d.\nThis conference brings together three internationally renowned\nresear chers and clinicians who have extensive expertise in working\nwith childre n\, families and schools in promoting the development of\nresilience.\nPre sented in English with simultaneous translation in\nFrench.\n \nInvited Sp eakers:\nNansook Park\, PhD\, is an Associate Professor of\nPsychology at the University of Michigan. She is\ninterested in the role of resiliency\, well-be ing\, health\, family\nfunctioning\, education\, and mental health service s.\nChristopher Peterson\, PhD\, is a Professor of\nPsychology and Organiz ational Studies at the University of\nMichigan\, and former Director of Cl inical Training. Dr Peterson is\namong the 100 most widely cited psycholog ists in the world. He is a\nmember of the Positive Psychology Steering Com mittee. He is a\nrenowned author including A Primer in Positive Psychology \, (Oxford\nUniv. Press.\, 2006).\nMichael Unger\, PhD\, is a University R esearch\nProfessor and Professor of Social Work at Dalhousie University.
