 ole of Public Private Partnerships (P3’s) in the\nmodernization of Quebec’
 s healthcare system\, with the aim to\nprovide a better understanding of t
 he legal aspects underlying\nQuebec’s P3 model.\nThe aim of the CLEF will 
 be to situate the historic progression\nof P3's and outline the roles and 
 responsibilities of legal\nprofessionals in the P3 process. In exploring t
 his topic\, the CLEF\nwill\, as a case study\, focus on the Redevelopment 
 Projects of both\nthe ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï Health Center and the Centre Hospi
 talier de\nl'Université de Montréal. These projects are commonly referred 
 to\nas the Montreal Super-Hospital Projects.\nThis activity has been accre
 dited by the Barreau du Québec\nfor 1.75 hours of CLE. Activity no. 100501
 67.\nAndrew Ford\, Partner with Fasken-Martineau\, has\nan extensive backg
 round in negotiating P3's agreements\, both here\nin Quebec and beyond. He
  has agreed to speak from a practicing\nlawyer's perspective on the many l
 egal aspects of the P3's\nprocess.\nAndré Dufour\, President of Groupe imm
 obilier\nsanté ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï at SNC-Lavalin\, will speak on the legal opportuniti
 es\,\nchallenges\, and interests that embody private industry interests in
 \nP3's.\nEric Michaud\, Director at Infrastructure\nQuebec\, will situate 
 the historic progression of P3's in Quebec and\nelaborate on the role that
  this ministry plays in establishing an\nevolving legal framework.\n
