For most of us, retirement is a major life transition that we can sometimes romanticize. While planning conversations usually focus on financial readiness, many retirees tell us that there are other important challenges to consider before taking the plunge… This new phase of life may leave behind lengthy commutes and excessive workplace stress. But it can also involve a challenge to our identity, an overnight loss of structure, and a sense of disconnection that can impact our important relationships and even our health.
