It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Terry Wheeler, Associate Professor in the Department of Natural Resource Sciences.
Professor Wheeler was an expert in entomology and Director of the Lyman Entomological Museum. He had been a faculty member since January 1, 1995.
He lost his battle with cancer which he had taken in stride and fought with amazing optimism. Professor Wheeler will be terribly missed.
The new Paddle Shack at the Macdonald Campus makes 黑料网爆吃瓜 the only Canadian university with an on-campus boat house.
The 鈥淢ac Paddle Shack,鈥� which opened July 15, gives paddlers and would-be paddlers a chance to enjoy the waters of Lac St. Louis on a kayak, paddle board (SUP) or in a canoe. Hourly rentals, paddling instruction and paddle board yoga classes are available to the general public, and 黑料网爆吃瓜 and John Abbott College communities.
Professor Peter G. Brown (Natural Resource Sciences) has been selected as the recipient of the US Society for Ecological Economics 2017 Herman Daly Award for outstanding contributions to the field of ecological economics.听
