Meet the winners: Food Science Bytes contest

People are increasingly engaged with food and nutrition, especially curious about how their food is processed. The ability to convey clear and engaging scientific information is therefore an essential skill for tomorrow's scientists.

The Food Science Bytes competition, launched by the RITA Consortium, encouraged students in the fields of science, food, and dietetics to create a video. This video had to focus on an ingredient or food processing method, with the aim of popularizing food science.  We are pleased to be able to encourage students to take an interest in food science and strengthen their skills in popularizing science.

A total of 12 students took part in the competition, and 7 videos were submitted.
