Biography: 

Sonia Di Maulo is an award-winning leadership development and workplace learning expert with over 25 years of experience in optimizing performance and team dynamics. She is the Founder and Chief Reinvention Officer of Harvest Performance, a leadership consulting agency, and a course lecturer at ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï’s School of Continuing Studies and at Concordia University. Sonia holds a Master’s in Educational Technology and a Bachelor’s degree with distinction in Communication Studies. An accomplished author and practitioner, she received multiple Awards of Excellence from the International Society of Performance Improvement (ISPI) in recognition of outstanding instructional interventions (2003, 2011, 2020). Her leadership fable, The Apple in the Orchard: A Story about Finding the Courage to Emerge as a Leader, has been endorsed by renowned leadership guru Ken Blanchard. Concordia Council on Student Life – Outstanding Contribution Award (Faculty Winner, 2022): Honoured for her impactful contributions to student development and engagement, including creation of the Take the Leap! program for emerging leaders and mentorship of graduate students (several of whom won case competitions under her guidance).

Concordia University President’s Excellence in Teaching Award (2021): Awarded for sustained excellence in teaching as a part-time faculty member, recognizing her innovative use of experiential learning and success in coaching students for international case competitions.

International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) Awards of Excellence (2003, 2011, 2020): Three-time recipient for Outstanding Human Performance Intervention/Instructional Design, recognizing exceptional performance solutions. She also earned an ISPI Award of Excellence in 2017 for Outstanding Communication in performance improvement for The Apple in the Orchard (international category).
