Dr. Ana-Maria Copaescu Appointed Early Career Representative

Dr. Ana-Maria Copaescu has been appointed as the Department of Medicine’s Early Career Representative. Dr. Copaescu is an Assistant Professor (Clinical) at ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï and a clinician-scientist specializing in drug allergy and immunology. She completed her PhD in drug allergy and has contributed to international guidelines on the management of drug allergy. Her research focuses on advancing personalized approaches in allergy care. In her new role, she will advocate for early career faculty, foster mentorship opportunities, and help shape initiatives that support professional development within the Department of Medicine.

We also take this opportunity to thank Dr. Arielle Mendel for her role as the Department of Medicine Early Career Representative. Throughout her time in this role, she was a dedicated advocate for early career faculty, an active presence at DOM events, and a valued voice at Council and Executive meetings. We are grateful for her many contributions.
