Biography: 

Dr. Matthew Oughton is an Assistant Professor of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine at ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï, an Attending Physician in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Jewish General Hospital, and a medical microbiologist with the Department of Clinical Laboratory Medicine (OptiLab Montréal–CUSM).

Dr. Oughton’s clinical and academic interests include infectious diseases, bacterial and medical microbiology, antimicrobial resistance, MRSA, C. difficile, influenza, and emerging pathogens. He is deeply committed to patient care, medical education, and the responsible translation of scientific knowledge for both professional and public audiences.
