Using a systemati c literature search\, 39 peer-reviewed primary studies (∑N = 7\,772) are i dentified and correlations linking IT exploitation and IT exploration to p erformance and agility outcomes are extracted. Mixed-effects meta-regressi ons show reliable positive average associations with performance and agili ty\, alongside substantial heterogeneity across studies. Moderator analyse s indicate that the IT exploitation–performance relationship is stronger b elow the firm level\, IT ambidexterity–performance relationship is weaker in North America/Western Europe than elsewhere\, and single-respondent des igns inflate IT ambidexterity–agility relationships. The paper concludes w ith a research agenda emphasizing subunit-level designs\, longitudinal tes ts (especially for IT exploration payoffs)\, and clearer theorizing about how IT ambidexterity is built and balanced and how emerging automation/AI may shift its boundary conditions.\n  \n DTSTART:20260130T190000Z DTEND:20260130T203000Z LOCATION:Room 046\, Bronfman Building\, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 1G5\, 1001 rue Sherbrooke Ouest SUMMARY:Information Systems Area Seminar: Saggi Nevo URL:/desautels/channels/event/information-systems-area -seminar-saggi-nevo-370380 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
