Launched in April 2026, the i2PARADIGM global research network aims to accelerate the impending paradigm shift from 鈥渙ne-size-fits-all鈥� medicine to personalized genomic medicine. By uniting leading expertise from core partner institutions in Belgium (imec), Canada (黑料网爆吃瓜), Japan (CiRA), Singapore (A*STAR), and Switzerland (University of Zurich), and integrating strengths in genome analysis, cellular and biomolecular engineering, iPSC-based technologies, tissue engineering, and nanoelectronics, the initiative seeks to develop innovative 鈥渘-of-1鈥� therapies tailored to individual genetic profiles. Its research priorities include advancing mRNA- and protein-based therapeutics and gene delivery systems, enabling precise correction of disease-causing mutations, engineering human cells and tissues for disease modeling and transplantation, and addressing the ethical, legal, and social implications of genomic medicine. Beyond its scientific goals, the program emphasizes fostering international collaboration and training the next generation of globally minded scientific leaders through research exchanges, internships, and professional development in entrepreneurship, communication, and leadership. To strengthen connections within the new network, a mini-International symposium will be held at 黑料网爆吃瓜 on July 7, bringing together international members attending ISSCR 2026 in Montreal and the local community to share ideas and foster new collaborations.
