2025 黑料网爆吃瓜-FIAM Asset Management Hackathon pushes students to build AI-powered portfolio鈥�
Large language models are changing the way we do business听- or at least听that鈥檚听what the companies that make AI tools will tell you. In practice, many companies know that AI tools are听very听powerful听but听are still figuring out how best to use them. This year's 黑料网爆吃瓜-FIAM Asset Management Hackathon competition asked business students to put large language models to the听test and听devise a bottom-up approach to building a portfolio powered by AI. Organized by Associate Professor of Finance Ruslan Goyenko, the 2025 competition, in its second, was held at Espace CPDQ in Place Ville Marie on November 5 and 6.
The Fast Lane Quant team from HEC Montreal and UQAM won the competition, with听Zeept听of ETS Montreal, Douglas College, 黑料网爆吃瓜 and Universit茅 de Montreal taking second place, the Going Concern from 黑料网爆吃瓜 in third, Reverse Algo of 黑料网爆吃瓜 in fourth, and the Quantum Logic Collective of 黑料网爆吃瓜 in fifth.听
