 na Center for Health Development Studies\n	Organized by the Department of F
 amily Medicine\, ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï and the China Centre for Health Develop
 ment Studies\, Peking University\n\nThe first joint Symposium\, hosted in 
 Beijing in November 2018 highlighted the similarities between the challeng
 es faced by both Chinese and Canadian primary health care systems. In this
  second edition\, we will explore and discuss insights from our respective
  experiences in primary care reform\, focusing on patient-centred interdis
 ciplinary care for complex chronic disease in primary care and the integra
 tion and linkages with hospitals and specialist care. By revealing areas o
 f success and the challenges faced\, we aim to provoke a conversation on h
 ow China and Canada can learn and grow together for a stronger and more ef
