This initiative aims to disseminate the latest innovations, research and ideas in palliative care to communities across Canada and beyond, particularly those who may not typically have access to academic speakers.</p> Thu, 17 Apr 2025 16:14:15 +0000 marie.moucarry2@mcgill.ca 4443 at /familymed The Department of Family Medicine opens a new clinic at the Lakeshore General Hospital /familymed/article/health-community/department-family-medicine-opens-new-clinic-lakeshore-general-hospital <p>On September 18, 2024, the Թ Department of Family Medicine, in collaboration with the CIUSSS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal and the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation, opened the Lakeshore University Family Medicine Group (U-FMG), a Family Medicine teaching clinic at the Lakeshore General Hospital. This clinic has now become the 12th home base to residents in the Թ Family Medicine program which counts over 200 residents.
