Inés Colmegna

Biography: 

Dr. Ines Colmegna is a rheumatologist, clinician-scientist, and Associate Professor of Medicine at ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï and the Research Institute of the ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï Health Centre. She leads a translational research program focused on understanding the mechanisms underlying rheumatic diseases and developing innovative therapeutic strategies. Her research combines basic and translational science to study hematopoietic stem cells, mesenchymal stromal cells, fibrosis and tissue repair, and vaccine responses in patients with immune-mediated diseases. Dr. Colmegna is deeply committed to mentoring trainees and fostering collaborative, interdisciplinary research that bridges fundamental discoveries with improved patient care.
