I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and I hold a Canada Research Chair Tier 2 in Partial Differential Equations and Probability. My research program focuses broadly on the asymptotic behaviour of random physical systems, which I pursue using a combination of techniques from PDEs and probability. I grew up outside of Boston, received my bachelors from NYU, and my PhD from the University of Chicago. I then went on to do a 3-year postdoc at the University of Wisconsin--Madison before starting as a tenure-track assistant professor at 黑料网爆吃瓜. I am passionate about mentoring and advising students to find the best career path suited for their life goals. I strongly believe in the positive impact that mentoring can have on someone's development, regardless of how similar or different a mentor and mentee may appear.
