Members of the hEDS*Omics Research Program gathered at the Centre for Innovative Medicine (CIM), MUHC, for a celebration lunch recognizing the progress, achievements, and collaborative spirit that continue to drive the program forward.

The event brought together researchers, trainees, collaborators, and partners for an afternoon of reflection, discussion, and connection. As attendees arrived, they enjoyed lunch and refreshments while reconnecting with colleagues and engaging in informal networking before the presentation began.

Vincnet opening June 2 2026

Dr. Vincent Mooser, Principal Investigator of the hEDS*Omics Research Program, welcomed attendees and shared remarks on the importance of celebrating collective accomplishments. He reflected on the growth of the program and acknowledged the dedication and contributions of the many individuals whose efforts have helped advance the research initiative. Participants then introduced themselves, creating a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere.

Goodarz presentation June 2 2026

During the project update session, Goodarz Kolifarhood, Postdoctoral Researcher, presented an overview of the program's current activities and recent achievements. The presentation highlighted key milestones reached over the past year, ongoing research initiatives, and priorities for the months ahead. 

Discussions also explored current challenges, opportunities for collaboration, future meetings and milestones, and recent developments to the hEDS*Omics Research Program website, including new content and features designed to enhance knowledge sharing and community engagement.

The celebration continued with informal discussions over lunch, providing participants with additional opportunities to exchange ideas, strengthen collaborations, and explore future research opportunities. 

The gathering concluded with closing remarks and acknowledgements recognizing the contributions of researchers, students, staff, collaborators, and partners who continue to support the program's success. Many participants remained engaged in conversation following the formal conclusion of the event, reflecting the strong sense of community and shared commitment to advancing hEDS research.
