Workshop with the Rwandan Space Agency

Last Friday, the Institute of Air and Space Law wrapped up a successful three-day workshop with the Rwanda Space Agency, discussing domestic space law. The workshop, which was organised and moderated by Dr Arnold Agaba, included presentations from Professor Andrea Harrington, Adjunct Professor and Alumna Diane Howard, DCL candidate Judith S. jahnke, and LLM student Melanie Munyori. The workshop concluded with the IASL and the RSA signing a Memorandum of Understanding, agreeing to continue the fruitful collaboration between the two institutions.

The ��Թ� Institute of Air and Space Law was delighted to participate in the 16th Africa Regional Round of the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition, held on 22 and 23 May 2025 at the CSIR International Convention Centre in Pretoria, South Africa. Dr. Arnold Agaba (Postdoctoral Researcher and Chair the Research Group on African Air and Space Law) served as a judge during the competition, sharing his expertise and helping to inspire the next generation of African space lawyers.
