DESCRIPTION:The Consortium for Research\, Innovation and Transformation of 
 Agri-food (RITA)\, in collaboration with the Canadian Institute of Food Sc
 ience and Technology (CIFST) Québec Section\, is launching the Popular Sci
 ence Storyboard Competition to increase knowledge transfer in the food pro
 cessing sector to highlight the sustainability subjects below\, and to pro
 mote the students who carry it out.\n\n\n	Zero-waste solutions and circular
  economy\n	Sustainable and smart packaging that reduces environmental impac
 t throughout its life cycle\n	Technologies and practices to increase energy
  efficiency and use renewable energy\n\n\nAs part of their technology watc
 h activities\, professionals in the agri-food processing and manufacturing
  industry are particularly interested in the latest innovations and scient
 ific advances. The Popular Science Storyboard Competition aims to promote 
 knowledge transfer and exchange between researchers and industrial stakeho
 lders. This is where you can make a difference!\n\nWe invite you to creati
 vely promote and/or present the latest scientific innovations in the field
 s of circular economy\, sustainable development\, sustainable packaging or
  eco-efficiency through an informative storyboard (1 page).\n\nDo you want
  to be noticed by some future employers or do you want to distinguish your
 self from your peers in a creative and constructive way? This competition 
 is for you!\n\nPrizes\n\n\n	\n		750$\n\n		\n			First place\n		\n	\n\n\n\n	\n		500$\n\n		\n
 			Second place\n		\n	\n\n\n\n	\n		250$\n\n		\n			Third place\n		\n	\n\n\nPeople's Choice A
 ward\n\nThe storyboards will be on display at the CIFST Supplier’s Night o
 n May 2nd\, 2024\, where visitors will vote for their favorite storyboard.
  The winner of the Public’s Choice will receive an opportunity a visit to 
 a food company (to be determined) as well as a gift basket filled with pro
 ducts and merchandise from the CIFST suppliers.\n\nHow to enter the compet
 ition (deadlines extended!)\n\n\n	\n		Fill out and submit the application for
