They present t he two-boundary Temperley-Lieb algebra both as a diagram algebra and as a quotient of the affine Hecke algebra of type C. In work with A. Ram\, we h ave presented the affine Hecke algebra of type C as a centralizer algebra and as a quotient of the two-poled braid group.
