Marie-Jo毛lle Zahar is a聽Professor of Political Science at the Universit茅 de Montr茅al, I am also director of the Research Network on Peace Operations (). My research focuses on the dynamics of conflict resolution and peacebuilding. I am particularly interested in the strategic use of violence in the context of peace negotiations and peace implementation. I also research the ability of power sharing to help societies coming out of war achieve a stable peace and democracy.
