Tuberculosis elimination relies on a two-pillar global strategy: preventing disease through screening and treating latent infections and diagnosing and treating active cases. Both approaches require lengthy regimens that make trust essential to whether patients accept and complete their treatment. This presentation explores how trust influences treatment acceptability, with a focus on how it affects decision-making around MDR-TPT acceptance.
