 nd Edition (ADOS-2) is a widely used standardized assessment tool for diag
 nostic assessments of autism. \n\nThe online workshop is for professionals
  who would like to gain additional skills in diagnosing autism using the A
 DOS-2 across ages\, developmental levels and language skills. It covers mo
 dules 1\, 2\, 3 and 4 as well as the Toddler module\, and includes discuss
 ion about:\n\n\n	the use of the ADOS-2 in making a clinical diagnosis\n	admi
 nistration\, scoring\, and use of ADOS-2 algorithms\n	issues related to dif
 ferential diagnosis\, diagnosis in context\, complex clinical situations\,
  and report writing\n	current research on ADOS-2\n\n\n\n	What to expect\n\n
 \n	Workshops are kept small to allow for discussion and questions\n	Our team
  has extensive experience with a wide range of ages and populations\, incl
 uding working with linguistically and culturally diverse populations\, and
  we bring this experience to all our workshops\n	We believe that the contex
 t in which diagnostic tools are used is important – we welcome discussion 
 about attendees’ own clinical or research context so we can offer advice o
 n best practices and helpful adaptations\n	All workshops are led by certifi
 ed trainers\n\n\n \n\nAbout the facilitator\n\nMandy Steiman\, PhD\, is a 
 clinical psychologist specializing in the assessment of autism and associa
 ted diagnoses. She holds at position at the Douglas Mental Health Universi
 ty Institute\, which is affiliated with ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï.\n\nHer experien
 ce includes serving as a senior psychologist at tertiary care diagnostic c
 linics and as clinical site leader for multi-site and longitudinal researc
 h studies\, as well as contributing to the development and implementation 
 of integrated clinical-research protocols.\n\nDr. Steiman trains students 
 and professionals in diagnostic assessment for research and clinical purpo
 ses and is a certified trainer the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule 
 – Second Edition (ADOS-2) and the Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised (A
 DI-R). Her goal is to train professionals to provide high quality\, eviden
 ce-based care while employing an empathic and collaborative approach with 
 patients and their families.\n\n \n\nDates\n\n\n	This online workshop is of
 fered over 3 full-days (18 hours)\, and is equivalent to the in-person ADO
 S-2 Introductory Workshop offered over 3 full days\n	Participants must atte
