Expert: Munich Security Conference

The Munich Security Conference, which opened today and runs until Feb. 15, is a leading forum for discussions on international security. It is attended by heads of state and ministers of defence and foreign affairs from around the world.

Jennifer Welsh, Professor, Department of Political Science, Canada 150 Research Chair in Global Governance and Security and Director of the Centre for International Peace and Security Studies (CIPSS), is attending the conference and will be available for interviews throughout the weekend.

She can speak about global governance and security, international relations, foreign policy, ethics and law of armed conflict, the United Nations Security Council, humanitarian intervention, the prevention of crimes of mass atrocity, and Canadian foreign policy.
