Watch the PluriDigit Speaker Series Talk Online

On January 29, 2026, the Plurilingual Lab hosted an online Speaker Series event titled Plurilingual, Decolonial and Digital (PluriDigit) Pedagogy: From Critical Practice to Learner Empowerment. Held via Zoom, the talk showcased findings from an international -funded collaborative study conducted in a multilingual program in Brazil, examining how plurilingualism, decoloniality, and digital learning can work together as mutually reinforcing dimensions of language education.

A panel of distinguished scholars, including Drs. ,,, , and  introduced DARE (Decolonial, Agentive, Relational, and Empowering) as a framework emerging from the project. They also highlighted evidence of learners’ shifting identity orientations and growth in plurilingual and pluricultural competence over the duration of the course.
