DESCRIPTION:November 14\, 2012\, is the international GIS Day. For the occa
 sion\, the Geographic Information Centre will be hosting a series of activ
 ities. The GIC is a new centre recently opened as part of the Geography De
 partment at ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï to answer geographical information system and remote se
 nsing needs from the ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï community. We are located on the fifth floor o

 ou have any questions concerning  GIS and Remote Sensing.  GIS day will be
  divided in four parts: a discovering GIS activity\,  a poster session pre
 senting work in GIS and Remote Sensing from student at ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï\, a series o
 f talks including our keynote lecture by George Leblanc of National Resear
 ch Council Canada – Flight Research laboratory\, and a wine and cheese to 
 celebrate the official opening of the centre. These activities will all ta
 ke place between 12:30 and 6:00pm in various location in Burnside Hall. Op
