��Թ� Law ranked among the world’s top law schools by the Times Higher Education

The Faculty of Law is delighted to announce it was again ranked as one of the world’s top universities at which to study law. The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings placed ��Թ� 33rd worldwide.  

Since the law ranking was introduced in 2017, ��Թ� has consistently featured in the global top 35. This year, 425 law schools around the world were ranked.

Call for Applications - International Clerkships Program 2026-2027

��Թ�’s Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism (CHRLP) is currently accepting applications for:

a 12-month clerkship at the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA);
a 10-month fellowship at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

The clerkships are due to start in September 2026.

The Faculty of Law mourns the passing of Nahum Gelber, CM, KC, BCL’57, a distinguished alumnus and cherished friend of our community.

Mr. Gelber’s visionary philanthropy made possible the creation of the Nahum Gelber Law Library, inaugurated in 1998. This state-of-the-art facility has since become a cornerstone of legal scholarship at ��Թ�, offering students a bright, open, and welcoming space for study and reflection. More than three decades later, the Gelber Library remains a beloved and vital part of campus life.
