°Õ³ó±ðÌýMaurice McGregor Cardiovascular Research DayÌýwill be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026Ìýin personÌýat the Research Institute of the ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï Health CentreÌý(1001 Decarie Blvd, Montreal, Quebec H4A 3J1).Ìý Oral presentations and poster finalists, including theÌýLouis & Artur Lucian Award Lecture by the 2025 recipient, Ziad Mallat, MD, PhD, will be at theÌýDrs. Sylvia & Richard Cruess Amphitheatre (ES1.1129). The remaining poster presentations will be at theÌýRI MUHC Atrium (ES1).Ìý

The Maurice McGregorÌýCardiovascular Research Day brings together surgeons, clinicians, researchers, fellows and trainees from our network of hospitals and research institutes, namely ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï, the Research Institute of the ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï Health Centre, the Jewish General Hospital and the Lady Davis Institute.

Learning Objectives
To outline the cardiovascular research performed at ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï
To develop research activities for students, residents, and faculty within the Faculty of Medicine
To discuss updates on new findings, new technologies and new approaches to the detection and management of patients with cardiovascular disease

Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their exceptional science in cardiovascular disease research performed at ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï.

    This activity is accredited by the Office for Continuing Professional Development, School of Medicine, ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï, which is accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Education (CACME) of which the Collège des médecins du Québec (CMQ) is a partner.

    This Group Learning program meets the accreditation criteria as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and has been approved for up to 4.75 MOC Section 1 credits/hours.

    Through an agreement between the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Creditsâ„¢.
