About the Clinical Exercise & Respiratory Physiology Laboratory (CERPL)
The overarching goal of our research activities is to improve clinical care and health outcomes of adults living with chronic pulmonary disease.
罢丑别听specific objectives听of our research activities听are to:
1) 听Advance our understanding of the mechanisms听of physical activity-related breathlessness and exercise intolerance in adults with chronic pulmonary disease.
2) 听Improve management of breathlessness and exercise intolerance in adults with chronic pulmonary disease by (i) studying the efficacy and physiological mechanisms of action of听therapies targeted to relief of breathlessness and improved exercise tolerance and (ii) advancing the development and implementation of exercise tests to measure breathlessness and its response to therapy and disease progression听in both clinical and research settings.听
