The Division of Geriatric Medicine worked in collaboration with the ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï Centre for Studies in Aging, the Steinberg Centre for Simulation and Interactive Learning, the Vice Dean of Education of the Faculty of Medicine and Caregiver Crosswalk Inc. to build a comprehensive program to address the needs of persons living with dementia and the caregivers and professionals who support them.
The Dementia Education Program brings together cutting-edge teaching and learning techniques, including simulation and a distance blended learning approach to reach remote areas, and leverages ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï’s wide-ranging research and clinical expertise and community partnerships to work towards building dementia-inclusive communities for the thousands of Quebecers who live with dementia and their caregivers.
