Join聽this workshop with a Graduate Career Advisor to聽start envisioning what life after academia looks like and聽to start building a structured career exploration and job search goals for yourself.聽

In this interactive workshop,聽a聽CaPS Grad Career Advisor will: 聽

• Provide starting points to聽envision,聽identify,聽and research聽careers outside of聽academia.聽
• Walk you聽through the聽key聽steps of a聽non-academic聽job search聽and the resources available聽to support each stage.聽
• Guide聽you聽in choosing one step and turning it into a SMART goal you can use as a starting point for exploring, researching, or applying to non-academic jobs.聽

We will be using tools and resources from myPath's Individual Development Plan (IDP)聽workbooks,聽with a focus on career planning. This workshop counts towards the IDP requirements for graduate students聽set by Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.聽
