Research in my lab is focused on developing novel computational methods based on deep learning, network representation learning, and statistical methods to address various biomedical problems. We are particularly interested in foundation models, geometric deep learning, generative AI, neural ODEs, physics-informed neural networks, and causal AI with applications in precision medicine and systems and network biology. We use these techniques combined with molecular profiles of cells (e.g., single cell and spatially resolved "omics" data) for various applications such as predicting response to perturbations, identifying novel drug targets, and revealing biological mechanisms and molecular networks involved in a cell.
