Congratulations to (KPE, BSc '16) who joins a 20-member entourage of Թ students and graduates headed to Tokyo to serve in an official capacity at the Games of the XXXII Olympiad, July 23 to Aug. 8. The athletes mark the highest number of Թians slated to compete at the Summer Games since 2008 in Beijing, when 11 represented the Montreal institution.

As part of the Bicentennial Celebrations, faculties, central units, associations, and unions were asked to nominate the Unsung Heroes in their department; the less-recognized faculty and staff who have walked the halls of Թ through the ages and who have greatly helped shape the community. David Urquhart has been appointed full-time head coach of the Թ men's hockey team.

A 2018 inductee to the Թ Sports Hall of Fame, Urquhart has spent the last three seasons as an assistant coach of the San Diego Gulls, an American Hockey League affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks. During that span, he helped guide the team to a 92-60-17 record in regular season play and three playoff berths.
