Project title: One Health Assessment of Zoonotic Risk at the Human-Animal Interface Along the Rodent Trade Pathway in Cambodia (2016–2018)

Rodents serve as reservoirs for multiple zoonotic pathogens and, in some regions, are also consumed as a protein source. We investigated viral circulation at the human-animal interface along the rodent trade pathway across the Cambodia-Vietnam border. Samples were collected from wildlife, domestic animals, and both healthy and symptomatic humans along the value chain. This One Health study provides insights into zoonotic risks and risk behaviors among exposed populations.
