Andréanne Lupien -Member

LupienDr. Andréanne Lupien is an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine and the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. At the RI-MUHC, she is a scientist with the Infectious Diseases and Immunity in Global Health Program and Director of the Containment Level 3 Platform. She obtained her Ph.D. from Université Laval and then completed her postdoctoral training at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL, Switzerland) and ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï.

Dr. Lupien’s research focuses on evaluating and developing new treatments for mycobacterial infections, including tuberculosis and non-tuberculous mycobacterial disease. She and her team aim to understand the mechanisms of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and optimize drug regimens to combat drug-resistant infections. They work on developing novel treatment strategies, from discovery to pre-clinical development, including the optimization of tuberculosis preventive treatments for Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection and the evaluation of new antimicrobial agents.
